How does FunStake work?

Participants deposit assets into pools.

These assets are staked in yield-generating platforms like Burrow.finance and Here Storage Staking.

At the end of each session, a winner is selected to receive the cumulative rewards, while all participants can reclaim their initial deposits.

How do I participate in FunStake?

To participate, connect your wallet and deposit your assets into an ongoing pool.

You will receive tickets based on your deposit amount and the time remaining until the pool ends.

Where does the Prize come from?

Prizes are generated from the rewards earned on the Burrow.finance platform and Here Storage Staking.

By staking and utilizing the tokens collected in FunStake, the platform accumulates rewards.

These rewards contribute to the final prize for participants.

Can I lose my money? What if I don't win?

If you don't win, can reclaim your initial staked amount back. Participants in FunStake do not risk losing their investment.

Unlike traditional lotteries where tickets are non-refundable, FunStake ensures that your initial deposit remains safe and fully refundable, while still giving you the opportunity to win rewards.

Can I cash out my deposit before the pool ends?

Yes, you can withdraw your funds, but you will lose your chances of winning. However you can join the pool again but your winning chances will be calculated based on your new deposits.

How are the winners chosen?

Winners are selected through a random process. FunStake uses Near's native random seed generation function to ensure randomness and fairness.

How are the chances of my win calculated?

Your chances of winning are based on the average weight of your deposit throughout the prize period.

For instance, take two players: Player A deposits 10 NEAR at the start of the period and maintains it until the end. Player B, on the other hand, deposits 20 NEAR halfway through the period. Both players will have equal chances of winning because Player A’s consistent deposit over the entire period matches the average deposit of Player B.

Can I Boost my chances of winning?

Yes, you can boost your chances by depositing more. The larger your average deposit, the higher your odds of winning. Additionally, keeping your funds deposited for a longer period significantly boosts your chances of winning. Therefore, to maximize your chances, aim to deposit larger amounts for extended durations.
